Ukrainian anti-corruption agencies detain former SBU general in “Carthage” operation
Ukraine’s National Anti-Corruption Bureau and Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office detained former SBU general Serhii Duka and other suspected participants in the “Carthage” operation. Authorities allege that senior security and law-enforcement officials helped a criminal organization and the “Khimprom” drug cartel operate fraudulent call centres, drug trafficking, counterfeiting and other illegal businesses.
